Meet the team
We are a vibrant Morris side, proudly dancing in the time-honoured Cotswold Morris tradition. Our group was founded in 2016 and, since then, we've been bringing the joy and energy of traditional English folk dance to the Romney Marsh and surrounding areas.
We embrace the spirit of community and celebration, performing at local events, festivals, and gatherings while honouring the rich
history of this dance form.
Where possible, we incorporate tunes from the Wm Mittal Manuscript, a valuable collection from New Romney, dating back to 1799.
We practice Sunday mornings from 10:30-12:30 (October - April) at the Romney Marsh Community Hub in New Romney (Rolfe Lane TN28 8JR) and we are always looking for new members. Whether you want to dance, play, sing, all of the above or just support us, we'd love you to get in touch.
We are proud to have raised funds for the following charities:
2017 - CARM, Care Across Romney Marsh
2018 - Histio UK
2019 - Shepway Food Bank
2020 / 2021 - RNLI Littlestone, Romney Marsh
